I don’t think many people will ever come across this section, so it’s mostly a little diary of mine.
I started with digital design back in 2014, exploring UI design (or visual design nowadays) along with motion and interaction design. I always admired good design and wanted to create experiences for people to use and love.
It took me two years to build the confidence to start sharing designs daily on Instagram, through which I began many collaborations on dozens of apps for the Middle East, specifically Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
I also started working on brand design, seeing it as a crucial part of app visuals. To this day, I still believe they are heavily intertwined. I have always loved focusing on the experience and customer journey—ideally making every endpoint along their way delightful, seamless, effortless, and enjoyable.
For the next couple of years, I created another few dozen app designs, brands, and web designs. I also learned to code, so I ended up coding many of them.
In 2019, I started my own company, helping blood donors in Czechia, since there was (and still is) a shortage of donors. I created the brand, app design, and every little detail in between, ultimately creating the biggest blood donation group in the country. We received coverage from all the major media houses and had 15 people in the company working on strategy, socials, and events for the donors. In the first two weeks, the app got 3K users. We even had Bolt (European Uber) taking people to donations for free.
I always believed good design was behind the success of the project, so after it ended, I continued designing for healthcare. I found happiness in helping people or at least making their lives a little simpler and happier.
After that, I worked at STRV on amazing projects from all around the world, mostly the US West Coast.
Alongside that, I voluntarily spoke in schools about design, business, and life in general and became part of IMPAKT—a group of young people around the President of the Czech Republic, helping to address topics concerning young people in our country, find solutions, and give them more coverage.
So that's my story. Now let's focus on yours, shall we?
